This unique piano is a rare find, both for its finish and for its sound. For such a diminutive size, this Story and Clark limited edition Art Deco model has been described as having a "very rounded, lovely, rich tone, almost Steinway-shaped in tone color." Its sound has been admired as being "surprisingly large for a grand under 5-feet long, especially in the bass." The piano's design was created by Everett Worthington, assisted by legendary piano scale designer Charles F. Stein. This Art Deco model has signature detailing reminiscent of the architectural style popularized in the late 1930s. The keys are original ivory. Unique to this model, sometimes referred to as the "Storygrand," is the designer string and plate cover, seen in the photos here.

The piano would benefit from some rebuild/refurb, but is functional and playable "as is".
